##Digital Light Processing & 3D Printers
DLP 3D printers use a photopolymerization process or curing of liquid polymer, as does stereolithography. A tank of liquid polymer is exposed to a DLP projector that projects light to places that need to be solidified. In contact with the light, the liquid polymer hardens and thus forms a solid object. The print platform then descends to a layer thickness and the solidification process by DLP is reiterated as many times as there are layers to be produced.
